The other night when John went to check on the boys before we went to bed Asher was not where we had put him a couple hours before. He had taken his blanket with him and found some better real estate in the neighborhood. Still close to the old pad but definitely different, he decided on the slab of cardboard on the floor next to his bed. You may be wondering what a piece of cardboard large enough for a two-year-old to sleep on is doing in his room, so let me assure you, there is a very logical explanation. Whoo-Whoo track building(train track). Yup, that's right, cardboard makes a great foundation for train track and road building. Much better than carpet or even tile. Carpet is too soft and grout lines are a mess. Who would've known right? Well, we are getting the word out there. Next we plan to take our discovery to the civil engineers in Anchorage. We're thinking this could really improve road construction here in Alaska.
Yes, that is drool and yes, he does snore like a bear. Hence the nickname Asher-Bear.

Now that is hiliarious!!! Man, boys are just so different!!! He must have a deep, heart felt connection to that "railroad foundation", for him to want to snuggle up against it!! he's soo cute and I'm sure he got that snoring and drooling trait from John!!

How funny! Calvin spends many nights lately, on the floor behind his door. He likes to listen to us after he goes to bed, but never makes it back to his bed. They are so weird and silly. You should patent your cardboard product for sure!
Mine would fall asleep squished up in the toy box. How can that be more confortable than a bed..lol...
