Only a three-year-old and a one-year-old would consider dirty dishes more fun than trimming the Christmas tree.

They each pulled their own chairs up to the sink and got to work. And yes that is a mountain of dirty dishes in my sink. Is it still there as I write this at midnight? Yes, it is.
*sigh*
And I'm ok with that.
Until tomorrow when I have to actually clean the kitchen, but for now it'll keep.
*smile*

I'm with you...the dishes can wait. I'd much rather spend the evening with my boys and hubby then doing chores! My sink get's shined in the morning while the boys are still sleeping.
The one and ONLY blessing of having a carpeted dining room is that it makes it really hard to move the chairs! Otherwise, Seamus would be playing in my dishes too. I'm not really sure what it is about dishes but I remember always wanting to help my Mom with the dishes. I have since grown out of that crazy desire!
Oh, I miss those boys! They sure are cute!
Oh my gosh! That is the cutest pic ever of your two monkeys at the sink! They are precious and so adorable! Hey, if they like to clean dirty dishes...they can come here for a spell!!! ;)
Merry December...Les
Becky and I are on the same page here! She took the exact words out of my fingers! I just want to sit back and watch them play.
if only they would stay that way as they got older. SOon the other stuff will be more important than the chores or at least it seems that way.
